Each area is different but from what I have heard is that there are not any daycare specific laws. The laws are just regarding child safety regardless of daycare.

Thanks so much for posting this. I don't think very many people think about this when they take their kids to daycare in tacoma. Are there laws having to do with this?

PLEASE don’t forget about drinking etc. Check with your daycare about how often they allow drinks, and also how much they encourage drinks. Kids forget to drink when they’re playing.
Some daycares may even post that heat index sign. It’s good to look for.

I agree. Honestly, daycare providers should be used to parents questioning them about their daycare and even welcome it. But there does seem to be all types out there!

If your daycare provider is at all “touchy” about you questioning them it would probably be best to look for another provider.
